Te Moenga, which was named after the bay immediately below, was purchased by Bruce and Jennifer McLeod in 1979 with the existing Lodge built in 1982.
The panoramic views and the farmland setting of the Lodge were perfect for a Homestay business and soon after two luxury chalets were built.

In 2006 Brent and Jacque McClellan purchased the property and are now operating it as a Lodge and Homestay and we believe it is only fair to share with you the breathtaking views that we wake up to every morning.
